Mandoles (Sugared almonds)

 

The traditional Cephalonian product made of sugared almonds. The vivid red colour is 100% natural.
“Mandorla” means almond in Italian; it is one of the many italian words adopted by the Cephalonians during the period when the island was ruled by the Italians.

Over the years, we have kept the word “mandola” instead of “mandorla” as it is much easier to pronounce.
